Dr. Daphina Misiedjan is an assistant-professor at International Institute of Social Studies (ISS)/ Erasmus University in the Netherlands, an associated researcher at the Utrecht Center for Oceans, Water and Sustainability Law (UCWOSL) and 2020/2021 Fellow at The Netherlands Institute for Advanced Study in the Humanities and Social Sciences (NIAS).
Dr. Misiedjan specializes in issues concerning Environmental Justice and Human Rights (in particular economic, social and cultural rights). Her book is titled: Towards a Sustainable Human Right to Water and was rewarded with the 2017 Agnites Vrolik Prize.
